Field Technician

Cleveland, Ohio

National Engineering & Architectural Services, Inc., (NEAS) a Geotechnical Engineer, Material Testing, and Surveying firm is seeking Field Technicians for our Cleveland Lab. 


As a Field Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our projects by performing a variety of tests for our clients. 



Candidates with the following skills and certifications are preferred:

  • Concrete Testing

  • ACI Concrete Level I Certification 

  • Experience in the Civil Engineering Field 

  • Computer proficiency

  • ODOT Prequalification: Soils & Aggregate Inspector (Preferred, but not required)

Must be able to perform a range of physical activities, including sustained walking, bending, twisting, standing and reaching, and perform medium to heavy work including occasionally lifting over 30 pounds and exerting up to 30 pounds of force.

Survey CAD Technician

Columbus, Ohio

National Engineering & Architectural Services Inc. (NEAS Inc.) is searching for a Survey CADD Tech who wants to join our expanding survey department.  Our ideal candidate will have experience with ODOT projects, MicroStation/OpenRoads & Geopak. 



The successful candidate will possess the ability to understand and perform survey computations, data reduction, compile backup documentation, create Excel spreadsheets, prepare survey drawings to include Record of Survey plats, Right-of-Way (ROW) plans and parcel plats.  Although primarily an office position, a minor amount of field work may be required for this position, depending on project demands.

  • 3+ Years’ Experience 

  • Experience with MicroStation/OpenRods & Geopak a plus

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Capable of learning and retaining information

  • Detail oriented and organized individual
